Our lives continuously evolve - coming to crossroads that consist of experiences, burdens, blessings and beliefs - causing our perspective to alter and see ourselves and our situations in new ways. We are constantly faced with the chance to make new decisions which can lead us to explore new things about ourselves.

My work is a response to the experiences of my life, the choices I make and the questions that inexorably arise. My sculptures reflect my related visual and emotional memories that I abstract and translate into objects that signify a distinct feeling and moment in time.

My process is organic and I allow the materials to guide me. Surprises and unexpected outcomes happen as a result. I am seeking to find a balance between the tensions, irregular proportions and rhythms within each piece. And just as life is constantly changing and new experiences cause shifts in perception, my sculptures too must change as you move around them - refelecting new ideas.
